Since 1984, MTS Medication Technologies has invested millions of pounds in researching and developing new products to make life easier for the pharmacist and safer for the patient. We understand the issues facing pharmacists because we come from a pharmacy background and employ pharmacists at a senior level in the company.

We always approach our new partnerships with the priority being the safety of the patient.

In 2006 we added two companies to the group, one in the UK, making us a large scale, competitive and cost effective source of high quality dispensing bags, and cautionary and advisory labels for community pharmacy and hospitals in the UK; and MTS Medication Technologies GmbH, giving us a further direct presence from which we service the needs of community pharmacists, and care home, hospital and medical staff across mainland Europe, from blister packs to full automation systems.

With healthcare now a truly global business (think of flu pandemic and climate change) pharmacists and patients around the world are able to benefit from our ability to offer comprehensive and flexible solutions best suited to their specific localised needs.

MTS continues to expand internationally across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Far East, using our established culture of patient safety, innovation and high quality, working in true partnership with our pharmacist customers.

The UK operation, MTS Medication Technologies Ltd., is based in Darwen, Lancashire, UK, and is a subsidiary of MTS Medication Technologies Inc. located in Florida, USA. MTS Medication Technologies GmbH, is located in the Science Park, Darmstadt, Germany.
